about Me
Esther Guilhot
I am both professionally and personally experienced. Beginning at age 20 in Fortitude Valley Brisbane while studying Psychology and Counselling I quickly knew this is what I wanted to do. And the privilege of hearing the stories of my clients and exploring the research in my studies enabled me to have a deeper understanding of my own lived experience-AuDHD (Autism Level 1, Attention Deficit Disorder combined type), Complex PTSD and alcohol issues.
My recovery journey through recognition, management and acceptance has led me to my authentic self, peacefulness freedom and joy. Sharing this with my Neurodiverse family-life partner Dan and rescue bulldog Polly I hope to help others begin maintain or enhance their recovery and personal growth journey.
When not working, I enjoy hiking, art galleries, national parks, camping, yoga, creating jewellery, binge watching psychological thrillers and true crime and reading a great novel or inspiring biography.
My deep interest is what makes people tick, the role power has in our lives and deeply understanding the psychology of societies, the mind and wellbeing. I am forever learning, seeking and reflecting and welcome other seekers to the path.

And into the forest I go, to lose my mind and find my soul. You need nature as your teacher to help you reconnect with Being. But not only do you need nature, it also needs you.

Environmental contribution

Although I aim to be a paperless and a low resource small business through the use of online software, booking and payment systems, these all use a lot of environmental resources and produce their own carbon. So I choose contribute 1.5% of my weekly income to Stripe Climate program to offset my use of technology. Check out my contribution to carbon removal*.

Trauma meaning wound...inner injury, a lasting rupture or split within the self due to difficult or hurtful events...is not what happens to you, but what happens inside you...a psychic injury, lodged in our nervous system, mind and body lasting long after the originating incident/s.

when we spend a lifetime trying to distance ourselves from the parts of our lives that don't fit with who we think we're supposed to be we stand outside our story, we hustle for our worthiness by constantly performing, perfecting, pleasing, and proving.
